President Ramaphosa Fires Shots At Malema In The Opening Of Parliament Debate

Reneilwe Morema reports on President Cyril Ramaphosa lashing out at Julius Malema, calling him disrespectful and personal, this is after Malema questioned Ramaphosa’s struggle and trade union credentials and also about the formation of the National Union Of Mineworkers when he was never a miner. Malema also publicly lashed out at Ramaphosa about his failures as a president, even going on to label him as an Apartheid darling since his father was a police officer during the apartheid era, which spared Ramphosa the brutality of the regime. In his lashing, Ramaphosa said, Julius need to be more educated on the facts about the South African history, be more political than personal, and that he spoke to his grandmother, and he would never disrespect her the way Malema disrespected his father.
