Did Hellen Zille Call MK And EFF Politician In KZN ”Dogs”?
Reneilwe Morema reports on the DA federal chair, Hellen Zille, referring to MK and EFF politicians in Kwa-Zulu Natal as Dogs. The source of the report was a press conference given by Hellen Zille in Johannesburg on the 2nd of July in response to the deadlock negotiations around the Gauteng coalition government between the DA and ANC. Zille Said she will not let what is happening in Gauteng hinder their prospects in KZN ”we are not going to bring KZN down if negotiations between the DA and ANC collapse in Gauteng, we don’t want to hand KZN to EFF, and MK, it will be a disaster for that province, we are not going to say the people of KZN can be thrown to the dogs” she said. In response, the KZN youth wing of the MK party accused Zille of calling the people of KZN dogs. Many users on X also piled on accusing Zille of racism.
